There’s a new hair colour trend we’ve been obsessing over lately. It’s called the Mushroom Brunette. Okay, so the name isn’t that desirable sounding, we understand, but after you hear what we have to say you’ll be running to your colourist with a Pinterest board full of inspo.
Similar to ash brown, the mushroom tone takes a hint of warmth to give it that smokey hue, not quite cool, but not warm either, a perfect blend of both. The Mushroom Brunette has many elements, combining earthy brown as the primary color.
Because it doesn’t really fall into either blond or brunette, it’s a great shade for blonds looking to dip their toes into the dark side, or for brunettes wanting to go a little lighter.
